The blackthorn blooms before it leafs — pale flowers opening on bare dark wood. This is that branch: the bark oxidized almost black, the leaf tips and prongs left polished so they catch what light there is, and three blossoms of pink lab-created stones opened along it. It measures roughly 45 mm across.
Solid 925 sterling silver, oxidized deep into the bark texture so the branch reads dark while the raised edges stay bright. The branch is fixed into the chain rather than hanging from it, so it lies flat along the collarbone. Grown from the same briar as the Blackthorn hoops.

Sloe is fixed into its chain rather than hung from it, so the branch lies flat along the collarbone instead of swinging. It reads horizontally, which is unusual here — most of the register hangs vertically — and it sits well under an open collar where the whole branch stays visible.
