An oculus is the round opening cut into the top of a dome — the one eye a building is given. Here it is an eye proper: engraved into the signet face, set with a small blue stone for a pupil, and ringed by moons, stars and marks that do not explain themselves.
From the dark register — Duskgild's memento mori line. Solid 925 sterling silver, hand-oxidized so the dark settles into the engraving and the raised silver stays bright. The shoulders carry the same marks as the face, so the ring reads as itself from every angle.
