Perigee is the moon at its nearest — the night it comes closest to us. A crescent of hammered silver holds an oval lab-created amethyst, cradling it rather than ringing it, and the band carries the rest of the cycle: phases and stars cut into the metal with small dark stones set between them.
From the dark register — Duskgild's memento mori line. Solid 925 sterling silver, hand-oxidized so the dark settles into the hammer marks and the raised silver stays bright. Under the same moon as Hecate, the crescent grown from briar branches, and Wane, the crescent worn at the throat.

Wearing it
The crescent sits high but narrow, so it clears a neighbouring ring rather than crowding it. The band is where the work is — phases and stars run the whole way round, which means the piece still reads as itself from the back of the hand. Roughly 14 mm across the crescent (photo estimate).
