A skull under a burial cloth. The shroud falls in heavy folds and the bone reads through it — the brow, the sockets, the hollow beneath the cheek — roughly 28 mm tall. The eyes and the nose are cut clean through, so whatever you wear behind it shows. It hangs from a sterling chain, included.
Solid 925 sterling silver, all metal and no stones, oxidized by hand so the folds keep their shadow and the bone stays bright where the cloth pulls tight. It is cut from the same bone as the Vigil Signet — the skull ring with a lab-created opal set at the crown.

Wearing it
Pall hangs flat and reads at two distances: across a room it is a hooded shape; up close it is a skull under cloth. The eyes and the nose are cut clean through, so it takes the colour of whatever you wear behind it — black gives you a void, skin gives you bone. Wear it alone at the sternum, or let it sit lowest in a layered neckline and keep whatever hangs above it finer.
