Ophidia Opal Snake Earrings in Sterling Silver
ophidia · from Greek ophis, snake; the order of serpents
925 silver · lab-created opal · oxidized
Two scaled crescents coil from a beaded crown and hold a pear of lab-created opal between their tails — cold silver scales around a stone that burns blue, green and ember-orange as it moves. The pair mirrors: left and right coil toward each other, the way serpents circle.
Solid 925 sterling silver, oxidized by hand so the scales keep their shadows. Ophidia carries the same lab opal fire as the Vigil Signet skull ring and the Wane crescent pendant — the opal set, worn together or apart.

Wearing it
Ophidia hangs from a hinged huggie and moves the way opal wants to — every turn of the head shifts the fire from blue to green to ember. The pair mirrors, left and right coiling toward each other. Serious enough for the dark register, closed with the quiet click of a hinged huggie.
Made to order
Every Duskgild piece is made after you order it — cast in solid 925 sterling silver, hand-oxidized, and shipped in roughly 2–3 weeks. Nothing comes off a shelf. Ordering and payment run through our Etsy shop, so buyer protection is handled for you.
Keep dry; polish the raised silver gently and leave the oxidized recesses dark — the finish is meant to deepen with wear.
