Wearing it
Charnel is the heaviest thing in the register, and it wears like it. The chain sits at the collar rather than down the chest, so the pendant lands just below the neckline where a shirt opens — it reads at conversation distance without needing to be tucked or shown. The beaded links carry as much of the piece as the skull does; from the side it's a chain first and a pendant second.
